It couldn’t hurt to see if she recognised anything, what was the worst that could happen? Smiling brightly at the other, she nodded. “Well, I cannot see what harm it would do, so please, lead the way, miss.” She gestured with her hand, her head canted once more.
Selphie giggled before nodding enthusiastically. Grabbing a hold of Victoriam’s hand, she began to bring her on a scenic route of the Isle of Balamb. The bluette beauty’s earlier words troubled her… She just appeared here—somehow. If the young woman doesn't find anything familiar, Selphie wouldn't have a clue as of what to do next. She could always ask the Headmaster for help—probably something she should have done before dragging her out this far.
Arriving at the entrance of the Fire Cavern, Selphie skipped ahead to seek out any nasty monsters that could be lurking. She wasn't sure if the girl could fight and didn’t want to risk her safety. When the coast was clear, Selphie motioned to the woman to come closer.
“I take it you didn't see anything familiar huh?” She asked, settling down on the nearest rock and folding her legs, “So Vicci, tell me more about yourself?” she grinned, gently patting the boulder next to her—gesturing for the bluette to sit down.

“Balamb? Train?” Brows furrowed in confusion at the girls words, her head canting as she tried to figure out what they could mean. “No… I saw none of these things, only fields for as far as the eye could see, that is, until I came across you.”
But that’s impossible… Balamb is on a little Island, surrounded by water! How in Hyne could she have walked here? Selphie was just as confused as the girl standing before her looked. “Okay, new plan!” she announced after a moment, “How about we walk as far as the Fire Cavern and see if you find anything familiar?”
Smiling brightly, she turned from the direction in which she believed she had come from. “I think I came from that way, though I may have gotten turned around at some point.”
Following her line of direction, Selphie came to the conclusion that she came from Balamb, “Oh, well Balamb Town is that way! Did you come off a train or anything?” she inquired, canting her head to side.
“Oh? Well if it is not going to cause you any trouble, I would greatly appreciate it.”
“I’d love to help! Now, do you remember which way you came from? That would help tons!”
“I am from Niflheim, have you heard of it?”
“Uhhh, no can’t say that I have? Sorry! I’ll still help you find your way home if you’d like?”
“A pleasure to meet you, miss Selphie. —You are quite right, it would appear I am rather lost.”
“Oh! Where are you from? Maybe I can help you find your way home?”
